CONDITION OF ITEMS
Most items we sell are vintage unless stated otherwise. Signs of wear are to be expected, even in items described as in excellent condition. If you have any questions or concerns about an item’s condition, please contact us for additional photos and details before purchasing. External conditions beyond the control of Casa de Barcelona can affect the longevity of any furniture, and Casa de Barcelona neither assumes nor offers any warranty on vintage or refinished/reupholstered items. Listed prices for items purchased online, or in the showroom do not include shipping, packaging, or delivery unless noted otherwise.
RETURNS
All Sales Are Final. If you have any hesitation before purchasing or would like more details, we are happy to provide additional photos and answer any questions. Casa de Barcelona neither assumes nor offers any warranty on vintage or refinished/reupholstered items after they leave our showroom.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
Casa de Barcelona provides shipping and delivery services locally in the Miami area, across the US, and internationally.
Casa de Barcelona contracts third-party shippers for white glove delivery services, with delivery times to most locations within the contiguous states ranging from three to six weeks. White glove delivery includes placing the item in the designated area within the home and removing all debris.
By completing a purchase through Casa de Barcelona, you acknowledge that responsibility for your purchase transfers to the third-party delivery provider of your choice at the time of pickup. Items left over 30 calendar days will become the property of Casa de Barcelona, with no credits or refunds issued. Customers take responsibility for item condition at the point of pick-up.
LOCAL DELIVERY
Casa de Barcelona provides local shipping in the Miami and surrounding areas through a third-party delivery service. Local messenger services are available for smaller and medium-sized goods. Delivery invoices must be paid before the item goes out for delivery. Responsibility for the goods, transfers to the delivery provider at the time of pickup from our showroom. Expedited delivery rates may vary.
INTERNATIONAL WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY
Casa de Barcelona partners with several international White Glove shipping companies. We are happy to provide a quote for your shipment and manage the logistics after your purchase. International shipping quotes may take several days to obtain from our partners.
FED EX + UPS SHIPPING
Items eligible for shipping via UPS or FedEx will be mailed within 5 days of payment. Items will be insured and shipped with a signature required upon delivery unless noted otherwise by the customer.
Please understand that delays in shipments via USPS, FedEx, or UPS are not the fault of Casa de Barcelona. If you need an item to arrive by a certain date, we will assist with expedited delivery. Items returned to us due to lack of signature upon arrival or incorrect delivery addresses will incur a re-shipping fee. Casa de Barcelona is not responsible for items lost in the mail or stolen after delivery. We will assist in filing a claim with the mail provider. Clients are responsible for any insurance deductibles involved in an insurance claim.
LOCAL PICKUP
Goods purchased locally are available for pickup from our showroom or warehouse and must be picked up within 10 business days from the commitment of the sale. Pickup hours are Monday - Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday, 11am-5pm. Purchased items left at Casa de Barcelona over 10 business days without payment for additional services will incur a daily storage fee of $50 per item per day, billable upon pickup. Items left over 30 calendar days will become the property of Casa de Barcelona, with no credits or refunds issued. Customers take responsibility for item condition at the point of pick-up.
ADDITIONAL TERMS & DAMAGED GOODS
Casa de Barcelona is not responsible for damage, theft, loss, or otherwise that occurs after the item has been purchased. Casa de Barcelona is not responsible for damage, theft, loss, or otherwise that occurs as a result of shipping or white glove delivery. Casa de Barcelona will assist in coordinating shipping as a service to our clients, but the third-party delivery providers bear full responsibility for the items. By completing a purchase, the client is responsible for any insurance deductibles related to filing an insurance claim.
If using a third-party receiver, clients acknowledge that the receiving party takes full responsibility for the condition of pieces at the point of delivery if no defects are documented directly with the carrier. Customers may also coordinate their own shipping directly with the carrier of their choice by making all arrangements for pickup and packaging requirements. Carriers arranged by customers take responsibility for item condition at the point of purchase.
We suggest that all clients fully inspect their item at the time of delivery and before the delivery providers leave the home. In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, please call our showroom immediately so we can begin the claim process. To assist in a resolution and file a claim, we need detailed photos within 24 hours. Please also take photos of the damage and shipping material and keep the original shipping packaging. Casa de Barcelona will file a formal claim with the third-party White Glove Delivery provider. Casa de Barcelona is not responsible for providing refunds for goods damaged, lost, or stolen by third-party providers.
