1980s Directional Five-Piece Chrome Frame Modular Sofa in Élitis Cotton Velvet
A stunning 1980s five-piece modular designer sofa by Directional, newly restored from the inside out. Each module is encased in polished chrome that defines the piece’s bold silhouette, contrasting beautifully against its deep olive Élitis 100% cotton velvet upholstery.
Every detail of the restoration was approached with craftsmanship and care. The sofa now features brand new high-density firm seat cushions, new seat straps, a full internal lining, and refinished internal wood supports to ensure long-term comfort and structure. The chrome frames have been hand-polished to a mirror finish, preserving the sculptural edge that makes this design a true showpiece.
Designed for versatility, the five modules can be arranged in multiple configurations: As a sleek linear sofa, reconfigured into a corner sectional with the L on either side, a conversation pit layout, or as separate seating arrangements . The beautiful curves of the chrome balance modern polish with the grounded warmth that defines Casa de Barcelona’s vintage modern aesthetic.
